Andreas Schindler
TRAIL RUNNING
Andreas comes from Balingen and lives on the edge of the Swabian Alb, a low mountain range in southern Germany. The Black Forest is also not far away here. He is married and has two children. His favourite activities are running and mountain running. He also enjoys riding his bike, MTB, touring skis and cross-country skis. Trail running and outdoor sports are his great passions.

Why do you feel you belong to the Cimalp family?
I recognise myself in the values. Mountains and closeness to nature are very important to me. I am very happy to be part of the CIMALP family.
Your best and worst mountain memories and why?
The most beautiful experience is always standing on the summit. Fortunately, I haven't had a worst one yet.
What do mountains inspire you to do?
The feeling of freedom.
What is your relationship to the environment and ecology?
I try to contribute with small things I can do to help.
