Your best and worst mountain memories and why?
Climbing my first 4000 metre peaks (Allalinhorn, Lagginhorn, Alphubel) is and remains the best memory I have ever had on my many adventures. However, the first time I camped at the Breithorn Pass at 4000m, my body didn't manage to acclimatise quickly enough. Accordingly, the night was hell.
What do mountains inspire you to do?
Feelings of happiness, freedom and peace.
What is your relationship to the environment and ecology?
Living a sustainable, environmentally conscious life.
Another great passion/talent besides sports?
Travelling, eating out, friends, photography.
