Interview with Antonio
3 words that define you as an athlete?
Passion, determination, ambition
3 values that fit you as a person?
Perseverance, fun, positivity
Why do you feel you belong to the Cimalp family?
I am very happy to have started on this new path, and I see it as a great opportunity!
Your best and worst mountain memories and why?
There are indeed many good memories, one of them being the day I unexpectedly reached the summit of Monte Rosa at the age of eleven almost by chance, and from there my passion for the mountains grew a lot. The worst might be the day when, together with a friend of mine, our ropes got stuck on the wall while we were descending a climbing route. We were stuck for a few hours before we managed to climb back up and free the ropes.
What do mountains inspire you to do?
Freedom and carefreeness
What is your relationship to the environment and ecology?
I think it is a very important issue and one that should not be underestimated. In my own small way I try to limit my impact on the environment as much as possible
Another great passion/talent besides sports?
Photography
