Grip, stability, and precision
The BALME features the Vibram® EVOLUTION outsole, a benchmark in traction, durability, and rubber performance.
It’s equipped with 4.5 mm lugs, arranged in opposing directions at the front and rear to provide excellent traction on ascents and effective braking on descents, regardless of terrain or weather conditions.
8 mm spacing between the lugs ensures rapid debris release and consistent grip throughout.
At the front of the sole, a dedicated climbing zone allows for precise foot placement on technical or vertical sections.
This outsole is engineered to deliver stability, optimized foot roll, and precision—even on steep terrain—making it ideal for both hiking and approach routes.

This size recommendation is based on key factors such as natural foot expansion during movement.
