Who did we design them for?

For trail runners tackling varied terrain or cooler conditions.

Long outings where the high-cut design protects the ankle and merino wool prevents overheating on faster sections.

For those who rack up elevation gain and want a sock that stays in place without causing friction around the ankle.

How to wear them?

Merino works just as well in the warm as in the cold.

If you are between two sizes, opt for the smaller size to avoid folds that cause blisters.

What sets them apart?

Its Caprera yarn (merino + Coolmax®) combines natural thermoregulation with active moisture wicking: the best of both fibres in a high-cut sock.

Trail running

Advanced thermoregulation.

On technical trail runs, your ankles take a beating. Higher shoe collars create repeated friction on ordinary socks. And pure synthetics only amplify the sauna effect on descents.

These socks offer a two-fold solution: a high-cut cuff with an anatomical top hem that prevents ankle friction, and merino wool that regulates foot temperature without ever feeling damp.

The reinforced heel zone absorbs shock on rocky descents. Anatomical right/left foot shaping eliminates bunching at the base of the toes. All at just 35g, barely more than the low-cut version.

Because a high-cut sock should protect your ankles, not rub them raw.

Customers love their comfort and support: many find them very pleasant and soft, with the foot well wrapped and the ankle properly held. Several also praise their quality and neat finish. They perform well for trail running, running and hiking; one customer wears them all the time without blisters, including in muddy Breton conditions. Another has used the short version for over a year and has just ordered the long version for cooler days. A popular choice for outdoor activities.

I love these socks. They're wonderfully soft, don't wrinkle, and my feet sweat much less than with other brands. I've been wearing the shorter version for over a year now and have just ordered the longer one for cooler days. Highly recommended!

Perfectly sized for my size 38. It's my summer alternative to the warmer version in the same material. The merino wool effectively limits odors and regulates moisture very well. I recommend it for both hiking and everyday wear.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Protection comes from the construction, not the thickness. The ergonomic left/right knitting follows the anatomy of the foot and eliminates bunching at the base of the toes — the primary cause of blisters. Exposed areas in trail running are reinforced in a targeted manner depending on the model: heel, toe cap, ankles and Achilles tendon.

Yes. The elastic construction holds the sock snugly against the foot without compressing it, for consistent support from the first to the last kilometre. Combined with left/right-specific knitting, it prevents slipping inside the shoe and the formation of folds. The sock moves with the foot rather than over it.

No. Merino wool regulates temperature according to effort intensity and absorbs moisture without ever feeling wet. It remains naturally antibacterial and odour-resistant.

A blister almost always comes from the same mechanism: a fold forms in the sock, followed by repeated friction at that point. Ergonomic right-foot / left-foot knitting eliminates folds from the construction stage, especially at the base of the toes. The elastic construction then prevents any slipping inside the shoe: the sock follows the foot instead of moving over it. The most exposed areas — heel, toe, ankle bones and Achilles tendon — also receive targeted reinforcement depending on the model.
