Whatever type of hiking you do, it is important to always carry a first aid kit. Better to be prepared than to run into trouble on the way! Here is a non-exhaustive but sufficient list for hikes of one to three days.
Emergency follow-up:

Before intervening:
- Disposable latex gloves
- A bottle of hand sanitiser gel
Specific emergency equipment for the first aid kit:
- An emergency haemostatic dressing
- One or more emergency blankets
- A triangular scarf
- A pocket mask (mouth-to-mouth resuscitation)
