How do you choose your ski socks?

Ski socks must fulfil several functions:

Retain warmth
Moisture management
Provide good support
Sufficient thickness
Reinforcement zones

Materials:

The wool generally found in the sole combines resistance, insulating power and a high moisture-absorption capacity.
Acrylic provides thermal protection, but is slightly fragile.
polyamide is resistant to friction and easy to care for, often used as reinforcement on heel and toe areas.
polyester offers thermoregulation and friction resistance.
Elastane ensures the sock stays perfectly in place on the foot.
