What are the key criteria for choosing a ski goggle?
When choosing a ski goggle, here are the key criteria to consider:
Make sure the goggle offers optimal protection against the sun's UVA and UVB rays. UV filters protect your eyes from damage caused by sun exposure at altitude.
Choose a goggle with polarised or photochromic lenses:
- Photochromic lenses: this treatment allows lenses to adapt to changing light conditions and protect you in cloudy weather as well as bright sunshine. They can change from category 2 to category 4 in just a few minutes. A photochromic ski goggle is recommended if you ski regularly.
