Free lifetime repair
After-sales service: an essential pillar of the company's durable development.
At Cimalp, durability is a key driver of the ecological transition.
It's our battle horse: innovation and R&D are at the service of the durable performance of our products.
We invest in an ever more responsible design and production chain, and in implementing a circular economy model to significantly reduce our environmental impact.
We fight against planned obsolescence, support our customers in making the best use of their gear, repair products and give them a second life.
The Cimalp Repair Workshop: a free lifetime repair service
A failed zip, a burst seam, a worn membrane: when the outdoors puts your gear to the test, our repair workshop steps in.
We offer a 100% free repair service to help you extend the lifespan of your favourite Cimalp gear, significantly reducing our products' carbon footprint*.
Our priority: restoring full functionality to your gear while preserving its look as much as possible. Depending on the availability of original spare parts, some replaced elements may, however, differ slightly from the original.
Looking ahead, we aim to drive innovation for repairability with the launch of an Innovation Lab fully dedicated to sustainability. By 2030, our "Sustainability & Repair" investments will increase fivefold.
*According to a Goodloop / MMG study, repairing a jacket has almost half the environmental impact of buying a new one.
Which Cimalp products do we repair?
Jackets, fleeces, down jackets, trousers, shorts, t-shirts or shirts, subject to repairability assessment* by our workshop.
How does it work?
End of life
When repair is not an option but the product is still usable, we now turn to second-hand and donations to charities. We have a role to play in optimising the end-of-life process for our products, offering textile collection and recycling solutions to become a more circular business.
We want to give products a second life: materials and products must become reusable resources rather than consumables.
