How to choose your ski socks?

Ski socks need to serve several functions:

Heat retention
Moisture wicking
Good support
Adequate thickness
Reinforcement zones

For materials:

The wool typically found in the sole combines durability, insulating properties and high moisture absorption.
Acrylic provides thermal protection, but it is slightly delicate.
polyamide is resistant to abrasion and easy to care for, often used as reinforcement on heel and toe areas.
polyester provides thermoregulation and abrasion resistance.
Elastane ensures your sock stays perfectly in place on your foot.
