Who did we design it for?

For hikers who want to master their navigation in the field.

Marked trails or off-the-beaten-track routes, in dense forest as well as at altitude, where GPS doesn't always cut it.

Those who prefer to read a map and stay on course by their own means, in complete self-sufficiency.

What makes the difference?

Its precision at 33g. Easy reading with the integrated magnifier, luminous markings for night navigation and a removable scale cord for measuring distances directly on the map.

Ideal for

Hiking

Field navigation that never needs charging

A missed fork, dense tree cover, unstable GPS signal. In the mountains, losing your bearing costs time, energy — sometimes more. A compass should clarify the situation, not complicate it.

The Ranger hiking compass was designed to make map reading accessible and reliable. Secure grip even with wet hands, markings visible day and night, distances measured directly on the map. 33 g in your pocket, always ready.

Because navigation isn't just about knowing where you are. It's what lets you go further, with confidence.

Key features

Non-slip handle

- Stable grip even with wet hands in the rain,
- Strong friction against the map: the plate does not slip during reading.

Rotating housing

- Quick bearing without complex handling,
- Internal declination scale, on-site calibration possible without tools.

Graduated base plate

- Scales 1:25 000, 1:50 000 and mm markings engraved for direct measurement on IGN maps,
- Replaces ruler and protractor in your pack.

Flexible cord

- Removable, stores flat without cluttering the map pocket.

Reading magnifier

- Decipher tight contour lines and micro-symbols with ease,
- Precise identification of intersections on small-scale maps.

Following a phone conversation with your customer service, I should receive the correct lanyard with the correct markings at my home address (catalog error). Thank you for your attention. I look forward to receiving the lanyard and am happy with the item, which I am learning to use as part of a training course. Very satisfied with this order. Thank you.
