The Refuge 2H was designed to stop that heat loss. Its long-pile structure creates a dense insulating air volume, capable of maintaining body heat even in complete stillness. It wraps without compressing, protects the neck with a fitted high collar and maintains its performance over time thanks to a fabric density that holds up against repeated abrasion. Even after hours of inactivity, it keeps doing its job without faltering.

Elle est très chaude, hyperagréable à porter (ha ! les poils longs en plus de la chaleur, quel contact) , les deux couleurs sont bien appariées. Juste un petit manque d’ampleur sous les bras qui se fait ressentir avec un pull ! J’ai eu une polaire Arc'teryx et une Mountain Hardwear ou dans les mêmes conditions, je n’avais pas ce ressenti-là. Je suis très satisfait d’avoir une polaire Française !

Veste très chaude. Idéale en bivouac ou refuge en statique ou dynamique léger. Je préfère une couche plus technique et mince en dynamique actif. J'ai fait essayer celle-ci à une personne âgée très frileuse et...elle l'a gardé ! Je l'utilise après des entraînements intensifs en stade ou compétitions ou sorties hivernales, avant la douche et après avoir retirés les vêtements techniques utilisés. Donc usages variés mais utilisation pour sa chaleur immédiate.
