I tested this jacket during a 5-day snowshoe hike in the Hautes-Alpes. Excellent results. Even with winds of 70 km/h and gusts up to 100 km/h, and a wind chill of -20°C, I felt very well insulated. The jacket is super comfortable. The underarm vents are very useful depending on temperature changes and exertion levels. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

This jacket will replace the same Cimalp jacket I've been using for over 5 years. I'm very satisfied with this product, which I use every day. It's warm, flexible, comfortable, and waterproof in moderate rain.

A beautiful, comfortable, and well-designed technical garment. Regarding the sizing, I find it runs a little larger than I expected for a size L in softshell. This allows for two layers underneath and ensures you're very warm.

Initially, I ordered the Energy model in 2XL for my wife. Following my purchase in December of the Dynamic model in 2XL, which she tried on, and which, apart from the slightly long sleeves, fit her very well. So I received the Energy model in 2XL, which didn't fit because it was too small. I returned it and reordered in 3XL, which was too fitted and a bit short. So after calling for advice, I was told to consult the size guide, and I ordered the same jacket in men's 2XL. For your information, there's no mention of a women's size in 3XL in the size guide??? Aside from the minor issue of the 5 orders for 2 jackets, we are completely satisfied with the product (especially in the rain of the last few weeks) and with the helpful telephone support.
