In technical trail, the ankle takes a beating. The edges of high-cut shoes create repeated friction zones on an ordinary sock. And pure synthetic amplifies the sauna effect on descents.
These socks provide a two-part response: a high cuff with anatomical upper cuff that prevents ankle friction, and merino wool that thermoregulates the foot without ever giving that damp feeling.
The reinforced heel zone absorbs impact on rocky descents. The right-foot/left-foot ergonomics eliminate creasing at the toe box. All at 35g — barely heavier than a low cuff.
