The conditions for entering the UTMB® 2026
Since 2022, ITRA points are no longer required to enter the UTMB®. You now need to meet two conditions: hold at least one Running Stone earned within the last 24 months, and have a valid UTMB Index in the 100K or 100M category. The 2026 registration calendar
Pre-registrations for the UTMB® World Series finals (UTMB, CCC, OCC) are open from 8 January at 11:00 to 19 January 2026 at 23:59. The lottery results will be published on 22 January 2026, and selected runners have until 4 February 2026 at 23:59 to confirm their registration and pay their entry fees. The TDS, meanwhile, does not require a lottery and opens for registration on 13 January 2026 at 11:00, on a first-come, first-served basis.
The lottery and the alternatives
Given the very high number of applicants for this flagship event — which attracts trail runners from across the globe — the organiser has introduced a lottery to allocate places for the most sought-after races (UTMB, CCC, OCC, MCC, ETC). Two alternatives exist to avoid it or improve your chances: the solidarity bib, which guarantees a place in exchange for a minimum donation of £2,200 to a partner charity, and a 30% bonus in the lottery draw for runners who commit to low-carbon travel (arriving without a car).
The entry fee for the UTMB® 2026
For the 2026 edition, the UTMB® entry fee is £479. For comparison, the TDS costs £320, the CCC £310, and the OCC £199. These prices include VAT, registration fees, the eco-tax and membership of the Amis de l'UTMB association; the carbon contribution, now mandatory, is added based on your mode of transport.
The medical certificate replaced by the PPS
Following a change in French legislation, a medical certificate is no longer required to register for HOKA UTMB Mont-White® races. It has been replaced by the PPS (Parcours de Prévention Santé), an online health awareness module to be completed within the 3 months prior to your race on the official PPS website. The code obtained at the end of the module must then be entered in your MyUTMB dashboard to validate your registration.
