Even though the UTMB® is still a relatively young event, its history is already rich with an honours list populated by great prestigious names who have left their mark on the pinnacle of ultra trail racing. Every year, the elite of ultra trail gathers in Chamonix on the entry list, vying to add their name to the event's history.
The 2025 edition was marked by the victory of British runner Tom Evans in the men's race, in truly brutal weather conditions. In the women's race, New Zealander Ruth Croft claimed the top spot after finishing second the previous year.
