Even though the UTMB® is still a relatively young race, its history is already rich with a roll of honour featuring many prestigious big names who have left their mark on the flagship ultra trail event. Every year, the elite of ultra trail gathers in Chamonix on the entry list, all hoping to add their name to the race's history.
The 2025 edition was defined by the victory of British runner Tom Evans in the men's race, in truly hellish weather conditions. In the women's race, New Zealander Ruth Croft took the win after finishing second the previous year.
