What is the second most important mountain range after the Alps? The Pyrenees! Whether you are a sports enthusiast or a lover of nature, this is the place for you. A selection of Pyrenean treks in both France and Spain has been put together below to inspire your next adventure.

Setting off to explore treks in the Pyrenees

From Gavarnie to Ordesa

Come and discover natural amphitheatres in the glacial cirque of Gavarnie and the canyons of Ordesa — both listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Situated in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park, one of the Pyrenean treks we recommend takes you to visit these true gems! You may cross paths with iconic birds such as Griffon Vultures and the Bearded Vulture. Admire the Brèche de Roland and immerse yourself in its history and legend — this breach is said to have been cut by Roland, nephew of Charlemagne. From there, cross into Spain to marvel at Monte Perdido. A memorable trek available through many agencies, defined by the sheer beauty of the landscapes you pass through.
