Who did we design it for?

For the approach practitioners and technical walking that chain together trails, rock slabs and scree sections before tackling a route.

Their playground: areas of steep approaches where every foothold must be secure, with a foot constantly working between vertical grip and horizontal progress.

They demand footwear that doesn't cut corners on rock contact, a sole that reads the terrain and support that stays precise even after several hours of committed walking in the mountains.

How should you wear it?

Take the time to adjust the asymmetric lacing at the halfway point to lock the heel properly on descents and avoid friction. We recommend going half a size up from your usual size to allow for foot swelling during effort.

What makes the difference?

Its asymmetric lacing to the toe for a custom fit. Every foot is held with precision, even on technical approaches where foot placement matters as much as grip.

The shoe that reads the rock

On approach, the terrain is unforgiving. Smooth slabs, unstable scree, exposed sections. When the foot slips or lacks precision, every footstrike becomes a risk.

The ASOLO ELDO LTH GV was designed to secure foot placement on the most demanding terrain. It delivers consistent grip on rock, firm support that locks the foot inside the shoe and effective protection against impact. Ground contact remains direct — your footing stays precise, even after hours of progress on technical approaches.

Because in the mountains, confidence is built footstrike by footstrike.
