On technical trail runs, your ankles take a beating. Higher shoe collars create repeated friction on ordinary socks. And pure synthetics only amplify the sauna effect on descents.
These socks offer a two-fold solution: a high-cut cuff with an anatomical top hem that prevents ankle friction, and merino wool that regulates foot temperature without ever feeling damp.
The reinforced heel zone absorbs shock on rocky descents. Anatomical right/left foot shaping eliminates bunching at the base of the toes. All at just 35g, barely more than the low-cut version.
Because a high-cut sock should protect your ankles, not rub them raw.
