In technical trail running, the ankle takes a beating. The edges of high shoes create repeated friction zones on an ordinary sock. And pure synthetic amplifies the sauna effect on descents.
These socks deliver a two-part answer: a high upper with anatomical top cuff that prevents ankle friction, and merino wool that thermoregulates the foot without ever giving that wet sensation.
The reinforced heel zone absorbs impact on rocky descents. The right foot / left foot ergonomics eliminate toe-box creasing. All at 35 g — barely more than a low upper.
