In technical trail running, the ankle takes a beating. The edges of high shoes create repeated friction zones on an ordinary sock. And a pure synthetic amplifies the sauna effect on descents.
These socks offer a two-part solution: a high shaft with anatomical upper cuff that prevents ankle friction, and merino wool that thermoregulates the foot without ever giving that wet feeling.
The reinforced heel zone absorbs impact on rocky descents. The right foot / left foot ergonomics eliminates toe-knuckle creasing. All at 35 g — barely more than a low-cut shaft.
Because a high shaft should protect, not aggravate.
