Who did we design it for?

For competitive trail runners who are looking to push their limits on short- and mid-distance technical races.

Designed for fast trails, intensive training sessions and competitions where every gram and every second counts.

Those who want a racing shoe precise and responsive without compromising grip.

How does it fit?

Use a lacing technique with heel lock (top eyelet) to prevent your toes from hitting the front on descents. Wear them with thin, breathable socks. We recommend going half a size up from your usual size.

What makes the difference?

Its VIBRAM® Megagrip grip delivers reliable traction on both dry and wet terrain. 535g per pair in size UK 8 (EU 42): the lightness of a racing shoe built for speed with the protection of a technical shoe.

How to care for it?

To keep your shoes performing for longer, clean them by hand with lukewarm water and a soft brush. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Leave them to dry naturally, away from any direct heat source.

Third pair of Cimalp shoes, so I've stayed the same size! 46 for a 44 in dress shoes without heels. 45g lighter per shoe than the Drop Evolution model or the other model. Much better grip (the others might be worn out).

Excellent shoes! This is my second pair. I keep buying this model because its durability is unmatched; the mesh has no holes or signs of weakness (even at the toe flex) after 1000km. Tested on all types of terrain, even the rocky terrain of the Défi du Montcalm. The low stack height, compared to market trends, allows for good foot movement, closer to natural motion, and a real feel for the ground. It takes a little getting used to at first, but it's easily mastered gradually. This stack height (16/20mm) is also a good compromise between minimalism and ultra-shoes, a rare find, thank you for that! As for the Vibram Megagrip sole, I think everything has already been said and proven: the grip on all types of terrain is excellent, especially on the rocky Ariège region. The lug size allows for use in muddy and wet conditions, adding versatility. Cimalp now only needs to maintain the model over time, or if it evolves, to maintain its characteristics!

Excellent shoes (I'm on my second pair). Superb grip on rough and wet terrain. Perhaps a little less so in mud, but in the south, that's not the main quality I look for. And what can I say about the mesh except wow... The first pair started to tear after 800 km (they had 900 km on them at the end of their life). In short, a great product that I recommend.
