Who did we design it for?

For trail runners who want to move across all terrains, from technical trails to muddy tracks.

It goes with you on nature outings and races, from short trail to mid distance, on paths, in forests or in the mountains.

How should you wear it?

Opt for a lacing technique that locks at the top eyelet to hold the heel on descents and prevent toe strike. Wear them with thin, breathable socks. We advise you to follow the size guide when selecting your size.

What makes the difference?

Its sole VIBRAM® delivers an infallible grip on wet and dry trail terrain alike. Lightweight (580 g for size 42), it frees up your stride and makes it easier to push off on all terrain.

How to care for it?

To keep your shoes performing for longer, hand wash them with lukewarm water and a soft brush. Do not put them in the washing machine or tumble dryer. Leave them to dry in the open air, away from direct heat sources.

Explore without limits

In trail, the terrain sets the rules. Mud, roots, technical off-camber sections. As speed increases, any loss of grip breaks the rhythm and saps energy.

The X-TRAIL has been designed to free up your stride, whatever the trail. It delivers aggressive grip on all terrain, dynamic cushioning that absorbs shock without blocking the rebound, and a flexible platform that moulds to the ground's relief. Lightweight for fast movement, it gives nothing away on technicality.

Because in trail, speed demands total control.

In summary This content is written by AI

Customers particularly appreciate their comfort, light weight and exceptional grip, which provides secure footing on trails and even on hikes bordering on mountaineering. Several also praise the foot hold, stability and cushioning, while one test over around 80 km confirms their precision. They are also suited to training for a multi-day hike. Keep in mind that the laces come undone easily, so use a double knot or replace them; the mesh can also wear quickly against rocks.

I have found this shoe to have been a great choice while training for a multi-day hike. The only reservation i would have is that the design of the tongue could changed where it stops on the toe-box to incoperate a smoother transition to avoid chaffing. Great shoe and i purchased two pair.

Tested on the trails of the Puy Mary over about 80 km: light shoes, not very wide (but my right foot, which has a bunion, fits in without any problem), which makes them precise on footholds. The only problem is the laces, which I had to retie after 10 minutes, so I replaced them.
