Who did we design it for?

For competitive trail runners who are looking to push their limits on short- and mid-distance technical races.

Designed for fast trails, intensive training sessions and competitions where every gram and every second counts.

Those who want a racing shoe precise and responsive without compromising grip.

How does it fit?

Use a lacing technique with heel lock (top eyelet) to prevent your toes from hitting the front on descents. Wear them with thin, breathable socks. We recommend going half a size up from your usual size.

What makes the difference?

Its VIBRAM® Megagrip grip delivers reliable traction on both dry and wet terrain. 535g per pair in size UK 8 (EU 42): the lightness of a racing shoe built for speed with the protection of a technical shoe.

How to care for it?

To keep your shoes performing for longer, clean them by hand with lukewarm water and a soft brush. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Leave them to dry naturally, away from any direct heat source.

Très bonnes chaussures! C'est ma deuxième paire. Je reprends ce modèle car il est d'une résistance peu égalée, le mesh n'a aucun trou ni début de fragilité (même à la pliure des orteils) après 1000kms. Eprouvé en tout type de terrains, même dans les cailloux du Défi du Montcalm. Le Stack faible en comparaison avec les tendances du marché permet un bon mouvement du pied, plus proche du mouvement naturel et un vrai ressenti du terrain. Il faut un peu s'y faire au début, mais progressivement cela est facilement apprivoisé. Ce stack (16/20mm) est aussi une bon compromis entre minimalisme et ultra-shoes, rare à trouver, merci pour ça! Quand à la semelle en Vibram megagrip, je pense que tout est déjà dit et prouvé, la tenue sur tout type de terrain est très bonne, en particulier dans le caillou ariégeois. La taille des crampons permet une utilisation en condition grasse et humide, ça ajoute de la polyvalence. Reste plus qu'à Cimalp à maintenir le modèle dans le temps, ou s'il évolue à maintenir ces caractéristiques!

Probablement les meilleures chaussures de trail que j'ai porté : confortables et souples, coupe à l'avant large pour l'aisance des orteils, système de laçage très efficace, semelles pas trop épaisses (juste assez pour ne pas sentir les cailloux mais pas trop pour préserver la sensation du contact avec le sol), agiles en terrain difficile, et par dessus tout la semelle Vibram MegaGrip fait un travail d'adhérence inconnu pour moi à ce jour, sur le sec, les cailloux et le summum sur les roches et racines humides et glissantes : elles procures une grande sensation de sécurité. Le tout à un tarif plus que correct au vu de la qualité et un service client téléphonique remarquable. Pour une première expérience de chaussure Cimalp je suis plus que convaincu.
