Who did we design it for?

For the hikers who head out for the day, from marked trails to more demanding routes.

Rolling terrain, summer heat, sustained pace: conditions where carrying comfort makes all the difference.

A profile that gets straight to the point — no overload, with reliable kit reliable and well organised.

What makes the difference?

Its back ventilation. The AirSpeed suspended mesh panel creates an air gap between the pack and your back, keeping you dry even as the effort intensifies.

Ideal for

Hiking

The day pack that keeps your back dry

Woodland trail, exposed climb, variable pace. Heat, sweat, moisture under the pack: three factors that turn a pleasant outing into an endurance test.

The Hikelite 18 was designed for day hikes where back thermal comfort makes all the difference. Its suspended mesh back panel maintains constant airflow. Integrated rain cover, accessible pockets, pole attachment: every detail serves the terrain, nothing superfluous.

Because good load-carrying isn't just about volume. It's what keeps you moving at pace all the way to the summit.

Key features

Integrated rain cover

- Deploys in seconds when a shower catches you on the trail,
- Stowed at the bottom of the pack, always accessible without emptying the contents.

Expandable side pockets

- Stretch mesh to insert or remove a one-litre water bottle while walking,
- Adjusted hold that prevents bouncing on technical descents.

Hiking pole attachment

- Upper compression straps that double as attachment points for poles,
- Frees your hands on technical sections without lengthy stops.

Scratch-proof top pocket

- Soft lining to protect sunglasses and phone screens from scratches,
- Quick top access without opening the main sleeve.

Adjustable hip belt and chest strap

– Removable hip belt to lighten the pack on short outings,
– Chest strap with integrated whistle to signal your position when needed.

Manchon d'hydratation interne

- Compatible poche à eau pour boire sans lâcher les bâtons en montée,

Magnificent bag with high-quality materials and assembly. The carrying system is its strong point. You don't feel it on your shoulders, and its ventilation system prevents your back from getting wet. A very high-class item. The only flaw, perhaps, is the two side pockets where I put my two water bottles. In this case, they're too big, and all you have to do is lean forward slightly for everything to fall out. A fastening system would be welcome, otherwise I'd be completely satisfied with this bag.

Very pleasant in every way, but the water bottle pockets could be deeper.
