I purchased socks years ago and used them extensively in the city. Comfortable, just the right amount of warmth (for a beach dress), and excellent resistance to wear and tear and washing. Highly recommended!! The only thing I'm concerned about is the fit: I'm a size 44, and sizes 42/44 are fine, although they tend to be a bit large.
