How do I clean and care for my hiking shoes?

After each outing, brush your shoes dry to remove dirt. Clean them with lukewarm water and a soft brush. Leave them to air dry, always away from direct heat sources (radiators). Then apply a re-waterproofing spray.

Who did we design it for?

For the winter hikers (women) who don't give up on outings when the temperature drops and snow covers the trails.

Icy trails, packed snow, autumn muddy sections — every outing demands sure footing and a foot that stays warm over several hours of walking.

These are female athletes who combine snowshoes and active walking, and who refuse to choose between lightweight and protection in extreme cold.

How should you wear it?

Take the time to adjust the lacing mid-way to lock the heel firmly in descents and prevent hot spots. We recommend choosing half a size up from your usual size to anticipate foot swelling during exertion.

What makes the difference?

Its integrated anti-snow gaiter effectively blocks powder and debris from getting in. A foot that stays dry and protected, even on snowshoes in deep snow.

The warmth that secures every footstep

In winter, the terrain is unforgiving. Compact snow, icy paths, sub-zero temperatures. When cold numbs the foot and the ground turns slippery, every step demands absolute confidence.

The AKU Trekker Therm200 GTX Wmn was designed to keep you moving in winter conditions. It delivers reliable thermal insulation, consistent grip on snow and icy surfaces, and precise ankle support under prolonged effort. The foot stays warm, the foothold stays stable, whether you are out in snowshoes or on a path hardened by frost.

Because in winter mountain conditions, confidence starts with warmth and stability.
