Who did we design it for?

For mountaineers and committed hikers on technical terrain.

High-altitude routes, glacier approaches, exposed ridges where every gram counts and access to gear must be immediate.

Those who demand stable and organised without compromising mobility on steep gradients.

What makes the difference?

Alpine lightness. Just 710g for a 24-litre volume, with instant access to the main compartment via a front flap. A weight-to-capacity ratio that never holds you back on technical terrain.

Ideal for

Mountaineering

Alpine carry that holds on steep ground

At altitude, the terrain puts gear to the test. Abrasive rock, repeated handling, weather that turns without warning: the pack takes as much of a beating as the person carrying it.

The Deuter Guide 24 is built for committing ascents. Ice axes, helmet and rope attach securely, the load stays locked in on steep terrain, and your back retains full freedom of movement. A carry system that disappears so you can focus on the climb.

Because the mountains demand reliability, not excess. That's what makes the difference when it counts.
