Who did we design it for?

For committed off-piste skiers and snowboarders — whether freeriding or on a full-day alpine hiking tour — who need a pack that carries safety gear and technical equipment with maximum agility, both on the way up and on the way down.

What makes the difference?

Its rear-panel access. Unlike a standard backpack, you don't need to set your bag down in the snow to reach your gear: the back of the pack opens fully, keeping your straps dry and your equipment accessible in seconds — even when your skis or snowboarding gear are strapped to it.

Lightweight performance for your off-piste adventures

The Osprey Soelden 25 is the essential technical pack for high-intensity freeride days. Weighing just 1.04 kg with its LightWire frame, it delivers perfect stability and total freedom of movement. Designed for efficiency, it features a dedicated avalanche gear compartment and impressive modularity for carrying your skis (A-frame or diagonal) or your snowboarding. The thermoformed EVA foam back panel repels snow to keep you dry all day. Eco-designed from ultra-resistant recycled Nylon and bluesign® certified, this is the built-to-last protection you need in alpine terrain.

Because in off-piste terrain, speed and reliability are your greatest assets. This is the tool built for those who leave nothing to chance and demand total reactivity to carve every line, safely.
