I bought this for my wife, and the color is gorgeous. The size is exactly what she wanted because she doesn't like it too tight, so she ordered a size up from her usual size. I tested it on several rides in temperatures between 4°C and 12°C with just a base layer underneath and a short-sleeved jersey when it was 4°C. It's perfect—not too hot, not too cold, and it breathes really well. The drawstring at the top is fantastic; when you open the jacket a little, it keeps it securely in place and allows for a bit more ventilation on climbs. Like all CimAlp products, I highly recommend it.

I ordered a size up from my usual size based on other buyers' advice, and it's a perfect fit. I used this jacket as a mid-layer for hiking (outside temperature of 0 degrees Celsius). It's a very nice and comfortable jacket. A nice bonus is the snap closure that prevents the jacket from opening.

Very pretty, warm jacket. I think the blue color is even nicer in person. I followed the advice in other reviews about it running small, but the L is perfect for me. It's soft. Large pocket. It's a shame there isn't a tiny one for keys.

To maximise warmth without building up condensation, wear a breathable technical base layer (synthetic fibres or merino wool) as your first layer.

This garment acts as a thermal second layer: its role is to trap air and retain your body heat. While it can handle a light drizzle, it is not waterproof. In heavy rain or freezing wind, adding a waterproof jacket (third layer) over the top is essential.

We recommend machine washing at 30°C, ideally inside out. Avoid the tumble dryer and leave it to air dry to preserve the softness and loft of the thermal fibres over time.
