How warm is it?

Very warm and more insulating than a standard fleece: the hollow fibres in our CIMATHERM® technology retain heat in a 300 g/m² fabric. For bivvy nights and stays in mountain huts.

How well does it protect against wind and rain?

A light breeze, yes. Strong wind and rain, no: it isn't waterproof.

I love this fleece! I'm 1.86m tall and currently weigh 78kg. I ordered a Large and then a Medium to be sure. I'm a bit between sizes. I had a hard time deciding. But the armholes were a little tight in the Medium. I like it when it's a bit snug. But in the end, the Large is perfect. I might have preferred the collar to be a little closer to the neck for extra warmth and the overall fit just a touch more fitted. A Medium-L, basically.
