On the women's side at the UTMB, the 2023 results were equally extraordinary. American Courtney Dauwalter captured the spotlight, making trail history with a historic treble: first place at WSER (Western States Endurance Run), the Hardrock 100 and the UTMB!- Courtney Dauwalter

The TDS podium — a race every bit as demanding as the UTMB!
In 2023, the TDS, also known as "Sur les Traces des Ducs de Savoie", saw three exceptional women cross the finish line!- Maryline Nakache from the Cimalp team completed the 145 km and 9,176 m D+ in 23h37m57s. She had previously won the Harricana Trail 2022 and the Marathon Des Sables 2023 as first woman.
- Fiona Porte: originally from the Drôme, she won the Lavaredo Ultra-Trail 2023
- Flavie Bruyneel, also from the Cimalp Team, finished in 24h26m14s. This performance exceeded all expectations for the quietly determined young trail runner — a name that won't be forgotten any time soon.

The Cimalp team athletes, on the rise!
Thanks to its incredible athletes, the French outdoor brand Cimalp, based in the Drôme, is making an ever greater mark in the world of trail. Other Cimalp trail runners who stood out during the epic week at the world summit of trail:- Cimalp team manager Florian Olivier, on his second UTMB start, completed this outstanding race in the Top 100 in 27h20m34s (84th overall — 13th in his category), nearly 1h30 faster than in 2017 (107th place — 29h)!
- Christophe Anselmo, a determined runner on the TDS, finished in the Top 30 — holding his position among a high-calibre field and crossing the finish line in 23h54m40s!
- The remarkable Rémy Brassac on the CCC (100 km and 6,156 m D+ from Courmayeur-Champex-Chamonix) finished 14th in 11h33m43s (2nd in his category). His finish was one of the most memorable and moving of the event...
