Who did we design it for?

For mountaineers and winter hikers who push their outings in very low temperatures, from glaciers to high-altitude summits.

They alternate between intense effort and exposed rest stops in the cold, where every break drops thermal comfort within minutes.

This profile demands a base layer capable of managing both heat build-up and static phases exposed to extreme cold.

How should you wear it?

To be worn as a base layer directly against the skin: direct contact optimises moisture transfer. Layer a fleece for warmth, and a hardshell jacket in wind or rain. Second-skin fitted cut — order your usual size.

What makes the difference?

Its construction with 2 insulating fabrics delivers intense warmth even in extreme cold, without blocking moisture evacuation. An active thermal balance that maintains dry comfort from the ascent to the rest stop.

High in the mountains, the bitter cold sets in the moment you stop. Moisture built up during effort turns to an icy sensation at the summit: if the base layer fails, your entire thermal comfort collapses.

This base layer was designed for the coldest conditions. Its construction combining two levels of insulation traps body heat while actively wicking away moisture generated during effort. It moves with you without chafing, and neutralises odours over time.

This is strongly inadvisable. Cotton retains moisture and dries very slowly, leaving you feeling cold during rest stops. Wear this technical garment directly against your skin.

This model is designed to act as a second skin. Its role is to wick away moisture and keep you dry. If it's cold, add a fleece on top (second layer). To protect yourself from the elements, wear a waterproof jacket as your third layer.

Wash at a maximum of 30°C. The golden rule for sportswear is to avoid fabric softener: it clogs the micro-pores of the fabric and blocks moisture wicking. Air drying is very quick — avoid the tumble dryer.
