I'm 172 cm tall and weigh 82 kg, and depending on the brand, I wear either a size 40 or 42 on top and bottom, often a Large because the Medium is too tight around my chest. I do weight training and CrossFit, in addition to hiking, and I have to say that my short stature combined with my larger bust means that the Medium, which is theoretically the right size, is increasingly pushing me towards a Large. As for the JOCOU short pants in size Medium, they fit perfectly, but I felt a bit out of place wearing them. At 172 cm, they were a few centimeters too short in the leg for a perfect fit, and for once, I felt like a TALL man... (laughs). So I kept them but in a Large with the addition of a belt to make everything just right. Tested and approved last Friday on a technical hike. It's great!
