The Toulau was designed to follow every change in intensity. It delivers the warmth you need in the first cool kilometres, then vents excess heat the moment effort sets in. A very pleasant, lightweight fabric that protects against the cold. Ideal for hiking this April, starting in the morning. I wear a small for jackets and a medium for tank tops because I don't want them to be too fitted. I highly recommend this top; it's very well-designed and so comfortable! To maximise warmth without building up condensation, wear a breathable technical base layer (synthetic fibres or merino wool) as your first layer.

This garment acts as a thermal second layer: its role is to trap air and retain your body heat. While it can handle a light drizzle, it is not waterproof. In heavy rain or freezing wind, adding a waterproof jacket (third layer) over the top is essential.

We recommend machine washing at 30°C, ideally inside out. Avoid the tumble dryer and leave it to air dry to preserve the softness and loft of the thermal fibres over time.
