Those who have already used aluminium poles and want to take it to the next level without sacrificing packability when folded.

Extend the sections until you hear the locking "click". Set the length to form a 90° angle at the elbow on flat ground. Use the dual grip : high grip for traverses, low grip for technical passages.

With 225g per pole, the carbon version saves 100g over aluminium without sacrificing any rigidity. On a long day of hiking, it's the lightness you feel with every arm swing.

I ordered the Five-section Carbon poles with Easy-Lock system (Couleur: Black - Size: U) - please see Order: 912509 Placed on 2025-07-10 11:32:48. CIMALP immediately took my payment. Two weeks later I still have not received the goods I paid for. I have contacted CIMALP on 16th and 20th July. On both occasions CIMALP has blamed the distribution company. I did not pay the distribution company. I paid CIMALP and am not interested in the problems you have with your supplier. CIMALP is responsible for getting the sticks to me - not any other organisation. Your service is poor. I am disappointed. When will I receive the CIMALP products that I have paid for? Pour ma taille 1,58m, ces bâtons sont un peu grands même réglés au minimum. Heureusement qu'il y a 2 positions sur la poignée ! je choisis bien sûr la plus basse. Sinon tout le reste est parfait !
