With a head circumference of 62 cm, I hesitated to buy this hat based on the reviews. In the end, it's a bit of a tight fit, but it suits me quite well. I won't need the elastic band to wear it, and it's not likely to blow away in the wind. The brim is fairly stiff, which was my second concern. I have another bucket hat from Raidléger with a brim that's too soft. As soon as there's a bit of wind, the brim either sticks to my head or my forehead. With this one, there's no problem running in the wind. I wish it were also available in a more visible color to make it easier to spot for hunters.
