Superb fleece jacket, very technical. The hood fits the head perfectly, the integrated neck warmer is very practical, and the pockets are great too. It's very warm. This is my second one! The one I bought in 2022 (navy blue), the 2D Flex, is almost identical. I still wear it and it shows no signs of abnormal wear. However, this model runs slightly smaller than the previous one. Thanks to Cimalp for accepting the exchange.

A very nice fleece jacket, lightweight yet warm enough for my mid-season hikes. The mouth and nose cover is useful for protection against the wind and also for pollen allergies! (I use it for that purpose too.) It washes easily. Thanks to Cimalp for their high-quality gear.

To maximise warmth without building up condensation, wear a breathable technical base layer (synthetic fibres or merino wool) as your first layer.

This garment acts as a thermal second layer: its role is to trap air and retain your body heat. While it can handle a light drizzle, it is not waterproof. In heavy rain or freezing wind, adding a waterproof jacket (third layer) over the top is essential.

We recommend machine washing at 30°C, ideally inside out. Avoid the tumble dryer and leave it to air dry to preserve the softness and loft of the thermal fibres over time.
