Is it warm?

Yes. The hollow fibres in our CIMATHERM® Stretch technology keep your torso warm during activity, in a 350 g/m² fabric. Wear it on its own in cold weather or under a jacket.

Does it block wind and rain?

It blocks winds from 20 to 40 km/h, up to a fresh breeze. Rain is another matter: it isn't waterproof.

What makes it different?

A stretch gilet that blocks the breeze without getting in your way: unrestricted arm movement, a high collar and three zipped pockets, including one on the chest.

This gilet has a smooth outer that blocks a stiff breeze and insulating stretch fabric that moves with you. The high collar covers your neck, the pockets close with a zip, and the gilet slips easily under a jacket.

Wear it on its own in cool, dry weather or under a jacket when conditions turn: a layer you put on in the morning and barely notice for the rest of the day.

The size is a little big for me. I usually wear XL, but I ordered a L, and it was too loose in the back and under the arms. However, once you find the right size, the vest is very comfortable to wear. I find it very warm and windproof. I wear it for my trail runs, and it's perfect so far.
