What is a 3-in-1 parka?

It combines a waterproof outer layer and a removable fleece in one parka. Wear either layer on its own, or both together.

Are the seams sealed?

Yes. The outer layer’s seams are sealed to prevent water from seeping through them.

Is it warm enough for winter?

With the outer layer and fleece worn together, it is designed for hiking from autumn into winter. For long stops in very cold weather, add a warm layer underneath.

Is the hood removable?

Yes. It detaches completely and can be adjusted with one hand.

How many pockets does it have?

The outer layer has a zipped chest pocket and lower flap pockets. The fleece has two lower pockets.

How should I wash and care for this parka?

Machine wash at 30 °C with detergent for technical clothing. Use a gentle spin cycle (400 rpm maximum) and no fabric softener. To reactivate the water repellency, use a waterproofing spray or tumble dry on a low heat setting.

How much does it weigh?

It weighs 1065 g in size M, including the fleece.

What are the delivery times for this product?

Who did we design it for?

For men hiking from autumn into winter, through rain, wind or the first snow, who would rather carry one adaptable parka than several jackets in their pack.

What makes it different?

Three ways to wear it: the outer layer with CIMASHELL technology, waterproof to 10'000 mm and breathable to 10'000 g/m²/24h; the fleece on its own; or both together.

How waterproof is it?

10,000 mm Schmerber waterproof rating for the outer layer, taped seams, a hood adjustable with one hand and adjustable cuffs. It also blocks strong winds.

How breathable is it?

It lets moisture vapour escape at 10'000 g/m²/24h, and the removable fleece can be taken out when the effort ramps up. At high intensity, any waterproof jacket retains some moisture.

This parka combines a waterproof outer layer with a removable fleece. Wear the outer layer alone in the rain, the fleece alone as a midlayer, or both together when the cold sets in. A drawcord at the hem keeps the wind out.
