I haven't had a chance to test it on a long hike yet, but the carrying system already seems excellent, and its lightweight design is a major advantage for mountain trekking. The only downside, which was a given at the time of purchase, is the "tube" design, which requires more organization, or in other words, makes accessing your gear less convenient than with a side opening or a sleeping compartment. Personally, I would have preferred a side opening, but you can easily carry trekking poles, ice axes, and snowshoes, and that suits me fine. Otherwise, the build quality is superb.

there were elastic nets on the shoulder straps, very practical for placing equipment (gps, compass), someone saw fit to remove them, it must not be a hiker!!!!
