My second ROCKFIT. Of my three CIMALP hiking pants, this is definitely my favorite. First, because it fits me perfectly. I can complete my winter hikes in great comfort, staying warm and well-protected from wind and rain. The integrated belt is effective, and the fabric is durable. Its attractive design and comfortable freedom of movement allow me to wear it even when I'm not hiking: in the city, commuting. It was my invaluable ally (along with thermal underwear) during my last trip to Quebec in January 2026, with temperatures as low as -35°C. A must-have!

My first pair of hiking pants, and I don't regret it at all. Size M fits me perfectly (I'm 185 cm tall and weigh 75 kg). They're very stylish, comfortable, and have many practical features: four large zippered pockets, two small side vents, a compass, reinforced areas, and a perfectly adjustable waistband. The pants are quite thick and probably wouldn't be suitable for summer days, but I'm not in the mountains. I think I'll be wearing them regularly. I gave them four stars instead of five because the mesh on one of the pockets wasn't sewn properly. There's a small hole. I've bought many Cimalp items before, and this is the first time I've noticed such a minor defect. Well done on these technical pants!

True to size L, I tried it yesterday on a hike in the Pyrenees with rocky sections equipped with ropes and handrails. The weather was no cold, with sleet and a chilly wind. It was comfortable to wear; the fabric is very stretchy and doesn't restrict leg movement. The numerous pockets are well-placed, easily accessible, and close easily.

Technical trousers. Worn in light rain at 5 degrees Celsius, I stayed dry. The reinforcements do their job well. Pockets are easily accessible and have a good amount of space. Minor drawbacks: the ventilation zippers are difficult to operate and the waist belt is too short; it no longer sits properly in its loop. (I weigh 84 kg)

Excellent finish. Close fit and very comfortable, flexible fabric. Note: the side ventilation zip can be tricky to operate as it can get caught on the seams of the different pieces.
