How do I clean and care for my hiking shoes?

After each outing, brush your shoes dry to remove dirt. Clean them with lukewarm water and a soft brush. Leave them to air dry, always away from direct heat sources (radiators). Then apply a re-waterproofing spray.

Who did we design it for?

For the winter hikers who don't give up when the temperature drops.

Outings in snowshoes, crossings on hardpacked snow, approaches on icy paths — their playground starts where most hikers turn back.

They demand a reliable support with every step, even when the ground leaves no room for hesitation.

How should you wear it?

Adjust the mid-run lacing to lock the heel on descents and reduce hot spots. Prioritise warm, tall socks. We recommend choosing half a size to a full size up of your usual size to allow for foot swelling.

What makes the difference?

Its ice traction changes the game. The Vibram Arctic Grip outsole grips where others slip — black ice, packed snow, frozen ground.

Confident footing in the cold

In winter, the ground becomes unpredictable. Black ice hidden under snow, frozen patches in the undergrowth, paths hardened by frost. When the surface gives way, the slightest hesitation comes at a price.

The ARCTIC GV ML are built to deliver. Waterproof leather and high-tenacity nylon upper for a built-to-last hold. Full waterproofing and thermal insulation down to -20°C. Full-length toe cap to absorb impacts. Grip remains reliable on ice and compacted snow alike — the foot stays protected and stable, even after hours of snowshoeing.

Because in winter conditions, reliable kit makes all the difference.
