Yes. The ULTRASHELL® membrane is waterproof to 10'000 mm Schmerber and breathable. It protects against rain and wet ground, but the low-cut upper will not protect your feet if submerged.

Do they need breaking in?

They feel a little stiff at first, but a few outings are enough to soften them up.

Stitching, assembly and finishing are carried out in Vietnam.

How should I care for these shoes?

Clean them by hand with lukewarm water and a soft brush. Do not machine-wash or tumble-dry them; leave them to air-dry away from direct heat. To restore water repellency, use NIKWAX Fabric & Leather Proof.

What are the delivery times for this product?

This is the second pair I've bought. I purchased the first pair in blue/grey in August 2022 and I'm very happy with them: good grip even on wet surfaces, quite lightweight, decent water resistance, and good foot support. Wear and tear is typical on the sole and the fabric, which is starting to tear on the sides, but they last much longer than other shoes designed for the same purpose. That's why I'm buying them again, in black and pink, for a change. Note that I don't use the 'winter' insoles because their thickness prevents me from getting a proper fit at the heel. I use them at least weekly for hiking in all seasons and on all types of terrain. Very good quality product.

Hello, I bought two sizes larger to fit an orthotic insole (as well as the yellow insole included with the shipment) because I will soon be having knee surgery (total knee replacement). These shoes fit me well; for me, they serve an orthopedic purpose, protecting my heel from impacts. We'll see afterward, with the prosthesis, if they will still be suitable for my new knee.
