How do I clean and care for my hiking shoes?

After each outing, brush your shoes dry to remove dirt. Clean them with lukewarm water and a soft brush. Leave them to air dry, always away from direct heat sources (radiators). Then apply a re-waterproofing spray.

Who did we design it for?

For committed female hikers and occasional trail runners (women) who go outing after outing without tolerating a single wasted second.

Their terrain: wet technical trails, muddy forest paths, sustained climbs where every stop breaks the effort.

They need a foot locked in from the very first metres and a fluid stride from start to summit.

How should you wear it?

Tighten the Quick-Close lacing with a single pull, then check heel hold at the halfway point to avoid friction on the descents. We recommend going half a size up from your usual size to allow for foot swelling during effort.

What makes the difference?

Its single-handed instant fit adjustment thanks to the Quick-Close lacing system. One move is all it takes to lock in support, even mid-effort, without putting down your pack or stopping.

Ideal for

Hiking

Stability that never lets go

Hiking doesn't warn you. Wet rocks, hidden roots, treacherous off-camber ground. When the terrain gives way, the slightest foot hesitation costs energy and confidence.

The Fortux GTX QC Ws was designed to secure every foothold. It delivers consistent grip on wet and dry surfaces alike, precise support that guides the foot without constraining it, and effective protection against impacts. Movement stays fluid — effort goes into moving forward, not staying vigilant.

Because in the mountains, a solid foothold changes everything.
