Who did we design it for?

We designed it for dynamic female hikers who want to move fast on technical trails, without compromising on protection.

It accompanies outings fast-hiking and mountain days on varied terrain — scree, wet passages, mixed tracks.

Those who want a shoe lightweight and responsive - 370 g per foot - capable of handling the terrain without slowing the pace.

How should you wear it?

Take the time to adjust the lacing at the midpoint to firmly lock the heel in place on descents and prevent hotspots. This model runs small — we recommend going up size up from your usual size to account for foot swelling.

What makes the difference?

Its all-weather protection without compromise. The ULTRASHELL® membrane blocks water and evacuates moisture while the RipStop construction absorbs impacts — your feet stay dry and protected, season after season.

How to care for it?

To preserve the performance of your shoes for longer, hand wash them with lukewarm water and a soft brush. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Leave to air dry, away from direct heat sources. To restore water repellency and extend product protection, use NIKWAX Fabric & Leather Proof.

Hiking without compromise, all year round

On a hike, conditions change constantly. Wet passages, abrasive scree, temperature swings. When a single pair has to handle everything, compromise ends up slowing you down.

The X-HIKING was designed to secure every step, in all conditions. It delivers reliable protection against the elements, constant grip on dry and wet terrain alike, and proven resistance on the most abrasive trails. Thermal comfort adjusts to the season — every foothold stays stable, from the first kilometre to the last.

Because in the mountains, reliability knows no season. That's what lets you head out without hesitation, whatever the weather.

In summary This content is written by AI

Customers especially appreciate the comfort of these shoes: many find them very comfortable, with some calling them perfect or super comfortable. Several also praise their light weight, slim look and good grip, which some describe as perfect. They suit summer hikes as well as routes over difficult, muddy and rainy terrain. However, the fit deserves careful attention: they can feel narrow on a wide foot and sizing varies from one foot to another; some customers size up, while others choose their usual size.

This is the second pair I've bought. I purchased the first pair in blue/grey in August 2022 and I'm very happy with them: good grip even on wet surfaces, quite lightweight, decent water resistance, and good foot support. Wear and tear is typical on the sole and the fabric, which is starting to tear on the sides, but they last much longer than other shoes designed for the same purpose. That's why I'm buying them again, in black and pink, for a change. Note that I don't use the 'winter' insoles because their thickness prevents me from getting a proper fit at the heel. I use them at least weekly for hiking in all seasons and on all types of terrain. Very good quality product.

Hello, I bought two sizes larger to fit an orthotic insole (as well as the yellow insole included with the shipment) because I will soon be having knee surgery (total knee replacement). These shoes fit me well; for me, they serve an orthopedic purpose, protecting my heel from impacts. We'll see afterward, with the prosthesis, if they will still be suitable for my new knee.
