How should you wear it?

Worn as the main layer. In extreme cold, pair with thermal tights as a base layer. Harness-compatible. Women's high-waist fit. We recommend your usual size.

In the high mountains, the weather gives no warning. Freezing rain follows violent wind. Snow abrades the fabric with every step. Up there, a fragile trouser is a hazard.

This trouser has been designed to handle the most extreme conditions. Its rip-stop fabric resists abrasion from rock and crampons. Waterproof and breathable, it blocks the elements without stifling effort. Its high waist protects the core and stays in place under a harness.

Because in mountaineering, gear is judged in the storm, not in the sunshine. A trouser built for what awaits up there.

A water-repellent trouser lets drops slide off and resists light rain, but falls short in heavy downpours. A waterproof trouser (like this model) features a membrane and sealed seams that block water entirely, even in sustained heavy rain.

Machine wash at 30°C with the zips closed, using a specialist detergent (such as NIKWAX or NST) and no fabric softener. Opt for a gentle spin cycle (400 rpm max) and air dry. To restore the water-repellent finish (DWR), apply a re-waterproofing spray regularly after washing.
