I have been a long-distance runner for more than 35 years. Over the years, I have searched for the perfect 2-in-1 running shorts and tried almost every brand and model without finding the ideal fit. For me, the CimAlp Aoste running short is the holy grail, and I could not be happier. The inner short fits me perfectly, and there is no chafing. The waistband has the perfect width and elasticity, and there is plenty of storage. Said differently; this is the running short I have been looking for my entire life, and I could not recommend it more highly.

These short are excellent! They do really deserve 4 stars and I think the design is really good however I feel CimAlp has the ability to make an even better version, they are extremely comfortable and I experienced no chaffing on my first trial of them on a 10 mile run, the storage is very good but could be even better, I currently run with just my phone and keys and the extra internal pouch inside the right pocket was great for my phone however there was a bit of wobble while running I'm not sure if the design could be altered to help prevent this, I also feel it would be great if there was the same style internal pouch on the left pocket too as I'd normally put my phone on the left but that's just me and I think the addition on smaller internal pouch for keys along side the other phone pouch would be excellent and also maybe a version with a zip phone pocket on the back of the waist band could prevent the phone wobble entirely, only other minor details were I could feel the stitching a bit at the bottom of the tights and i could feel the seam at the top of the tights on my back however neither caused any rubbing and became unnoticeable after running for a while, I also felt the outer shorts bush against my legs a little bit while running and this could be prevented by making the outer short just slightly shorter but still wasn't a issue really just me being particular all in all very happy with them and would still buy the same version again and will definitely look into your other products too. Very happy with the fit ans design it is exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend to anyone who needs gels or other bits but doesn't want to carry a vest. The belt fits very large items even my water bottle (250ml) or SamunsungS23 ultra with no issues. Very happy with my purchase

This is my third pair of these shorts. They're so awesome for long runs to carry so much "stuff" around the waist.

Best running/trail shorts! Got the blue, black and now the gray one. Waiting for the red one :-). You can take lost witj you in the pockets and with the compartment in the belt. It's 'high' waisted.
