Yes. It detaches completely and can be adjusted with one hand.

Two lower zipped pockets on the outer layer. No chest pocket.

How do you wash and care for this jacket?

Machine wash at 30 °C with detergent for technical clothing. Use a gentle spin cycle (400 rpm maximum) and no fabric softener. To reactivate the water repellency, use a waterproofing spray or tumble dry on a low heat setting.

How much does it weigh?

How waterproof is it?

10,000 mm Schmerber waterproof rating for the outer layer, taped seams, a hood adjustable with one hand and adjustable cuffs. It also blocks strong winds.

How breathable is it?

It lets moisture vapour escape at 10'000 g/m²/24h, while underarm ventilation zips release heat. At high intensity, any waterproof jacket retains some moisture.

Excellent product, don't hesitate to measure your chest to get the right size. Tested in Iceland and it was perfect: warm and comfortable, plus it looks stylish. The fastening system for the inner jacket (sleeves and collar) doesn't seem ideal to me. That's the only thing preventing it from getting a fifth star!

It's a very nice and good jacket. We bought a men's and a women's model for everyday use. I use it to cycle to work (a 30-minute commute). With the cold temperatures (0 degrees Celsius in Bordeaux) this morning, I didn't feel the cold at all. The hood can cover the helmet to protect the face. Also, since it's not long, the jacket doesn't catch on the saddle when you get off your bike. In short, we are very happy with our purchase and recommend it.
