Why choose 3-layer bib trousers?

3-layer bib trousers are tougher and offer more protection than 2-layer or 2.5-layer versions. This pair uses our 3-layer ULTRASHELL® technology.

Is it compatible with a harness?

Yes. The bib design has no waistband, so nothing presses against you under a harness.

Does it have a RECCO® reflector?

Yes. It allows rescuers equipped with a detector to locate you in an avalanche. It complements, but does not replace, an avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe.

What should you wear underneath?

Wear them as an outer layer, over thermal leggings or directly against your skin. They protect against rain and wind but provide no insulation.

Which size should I choose?

They fit true to size: choose your usual size. The braces are adjustable.

Are there integrated gaiters?

Yes. The lower-leg zip opens to reveal an integrated elastic gaiter that keeps snow out of your boots.

Do they withstand contact with ski edges and crampons?

Yes. The lower legs are reinforced to withstand ski edges and crampons.

How should I care for them?

Machine wash at 30 °C with zips closed, using a detergent for technical clothing and a gentle spin cycle. Do not use fabric softener. To restore water repellency, apply a reproofing spray after washing.

What are the delivery times for this product?

Who did we design it for?

What makes it different?

Our ULTRASHELL® technology: a 3-layer membrane with a 20'000 mm waterproof rating and 80'000 g/m²/24h breathability, in a bib design without a waistband that presses under a harness.

How waterproof is it?

20'000 mm Schmerber rating and sealed seams: they keep out rain and snow and shield you from strong winds of 60 to 90 km/h.

How breathable is it?

It releases moisture vapour at 80'000 g/m²/24h, while the side ventilation zips let heat escape. At high intensity, any waterproof bib trousers will retain some moisture.

Skins on, the track climbs through fresh snow towards the col. Above lie a couloir, the ridge, then the descent you’ve been waiting for since the start of the season.

These bib trousers cover you from hips to shoulders: the bib protects your chest, adjustable braces hold them in place without digging in beneath a harness, and integrated gaiters keep snow out of your boots. Waterproof and breathable, they let moisture escape when you’re working hard.

On kick turns, the side zips ventilate your legs; on climbing sections, the cut gives you full freedom of movement.

All that remains is the route and what lies at the end of it.
