If your goal is to run the UTMB, knowing the race inside out is essential. That means understanding the different possible routes, the history of the event, and the specific details of the 2025 edition taking place from 25 to 29 August.

The course
Knowing the UTMB course means not only discovering the different distances and elevation profiles across the various races on offer, but also learning about the cut-off times, the time barriers in place, and the available aid stations.
- The UTMB®: 176 km with approximately 10,000 metres of positive elevation gain, starting from Chamonix, with a maximum time of 46h30.
- The CCC®: 101 km with approximately 6,050 metres of positive elevation gain, starting from Courmayeur, with a maximum time of 26h30.
- The TDS®: 148 km with approximately 9,300 metres of positive elevation gain, starting from Courmayeur, with a maximum time of 44h10.
- The OCC: 57 km with approximately 3,500 metres of positive elevation gain, starting from Orsières, with a maximum time of 14h30.
- The MCC: 40 km with approximately 2,350 metres of positive elevation gain, starting from Martigny-Combe, with a maximum time of 10 hours, reserved for volunteers, organisation members, residents of the Mont-Blanc area, partners, and residents of Valais, the Aosta Valley, Savoie and Haute-Savoie.
- The ETC: 15 km with approximately 1,200 metres of positive elevation gain, starting from Courmayeur, in semi-autonomous format and with a maximum time of 4h00. Open to runners aged 23 and over.
- The YCC: a challenge dedicated to young runners born between 2006 and 2011, consisting of a trail in Courmayeur (between 4 and 15 km depending on category).
